Hiking

Bacabes is perfectly situated if you are a fan of hiking. There are plenty of tracks through the jungle and to other nearby beaches and hill sides. From our private beach you can make your way across sand and rock (and occasionally boulder) all the way to Sayulita beach and town if you like. Either will awaken and energize you in the morning or to seal your day with a beautiful sunset.

Snorkeling requires no special training. Instruction generally covers equipment usage, basic safety, what to look for, and what to look out for, and conservation instructions.

Whales watching

Every year thousands of humpback whales migrate from the cold waters of the Bering and Chukchi Seas to the warm waters of Mexico. From mid-December through March, Banderas Bay is the destination of the largest number of these magnificent mammals.

Kayaking

Some people practice surfing as a recreational activity while others demonstrate extreme devotion to the sport by making it the central focus of their lives.

Horses on the beach

You will find horses that are appropriate for all riding levels (very gentle and easy to handle for beginners and more spirited for more advanced riders). First time riders will have horses specially trained to accommodate them.

Mountain Biking

You can feel the fresh air while exploring the forest in sayulita. Mountain bikes can be hired at Sayulita.
